Allan's work in the people side of business and sport spans three decades. His 20 year career in the mining industry included work with major Canadian corporations including Rio Algom and Luscar Ltd. In 2003, he started Hamernick and Associates, a human resources consulting practice where he conducted assignments across Western Canada and internationally. In 2014, he began to transition his expertise in talent and performance management into the world of athletics and in 2016, founded CoreFive Analytics. His clients include some of Western Canada's most respected companies as well as Olympic and World Champions, players and coaches from the NHL, CFL, CHL and CIS.
Tom's background as a venture capitalist, player agent, and 11 year career as a defenseman with the the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings adds tremendous strength to the CoreFive team. His experiences include key leadership roles as the Captain of the New York Rangers and an Assistant Captain with the Los Angeles Kings. In 2008, Tom founded Post Game Strategies, a firm providing customized financial advisory services including raising private capital. Tom's relationships, experiences and connections in the sporting and business world provide CoreFive and its clients with valuable insights from the perspective of the players, coaches, General Managers and agencies.
Dr. Mark Hogue
Dr. Mark A. Hogue is a licensed psychologist with specializations in Clinical Health Psychology, Behavioral Medicine, and Neuropsychology. Dr. Hogue has worked with athletes, coaches, teams and other “performers” from various sport and performance venues, from both a neuropsychological and injury recovery perspective, as well as in the areas of performance enhancement. He has worked in mental skills training and character development with world record holders, professional, collegiate, and amateur athletes. He has presented numerous times at regional, state, national, and international venues on concussion management and sport psychology. Dr. Hogue also works with the Erie Otters Hockey Team of the OHL as their Sport Psychologist, Character Consultant, and Team Chaplain. He also consults with “Character Matters” located in Flagstaff, Az..
Dr. Hogue is a member of the American Psychological Association’s divisions of Neuropsychology, Exercise and Sport Psychology, as well as a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and received the APA’s prestigious Heiser Award for legislative advocacy in 2005. He is a partner and part owner of Northshore Psychological Associates, LLC. He has been working with head trauma patients for over 34 years, and with concussed and other athletes for over 30 years. He consults with 3 Sports Medicine clinics. He is also on adjunctive staff at 4 hospitals, and he is on staff at 5 nursing care facilities.
